# Paste a posting

> How to bring a LinkedIn, Upwork, Malt, Hays or Striive posting into Jobbaloo with the paste box or jobs save, without scraping those boards.

Source: https://jobbaloo.io/docs/paste-a-posting/

Twelve boards are searched directly. Five are not, because they have no public data: **Upwork**, **Hays**, **Striive**, **LinkedIn** and **Malt**. Jobbaloo does not scrape them.

## What you get instead

For those boards Jobbaloo gives ready-made searches and a **paste box**. Paste the posting. It is stored, deduplicated on a normalised address and scored against your profile like any other result. You can then save it or tailor it. See [Searching](/docs/searching/).

> [!HONEST]
> A pasted posting is only as complete as the text you paste. The fit score uses that text and your profile. Missing requirements stay missing.

## From your AI

An AI with a browser can import what it read with `jobs save`. Pass a stored `job_id`, or a `posting` you found yourself: `source`, `title` and `url`, and optionally `company`, `location`, `kind`, `rateText` and `description`. It is stored first and deduplicated on its address. The stage is **saved**. Nothing is drafted or sent. The same door does not browse those five boards for you.

After it is stored, tailoring and the outbox work as they do for a board result. Read [Tailoring](/docs/tailoring/) and [The pipeline](/docs/the-pipeline/).
