About
Built by a freelancer’s tool shed.
Jobbaloo is made by AVS Media in Nijmegen, the Netherlands.
A job hunt is a pile of small tasks: checking boards, reading postings, editing a CV, writing a letter, sending an e-mail, remembering whom you wrote to. For a freelancer it is also the income. Tools tend to solve one of those tasks and leave the rest to you.
We built Jobbaloo because we wanted one desk for all of it, and one rule above all: a CV must never claim what you cannot prove. A tailored CV that gets you an interview and falls apart in the first question is worse than none. So Jobbaloo draws every line from your own profile, keeps the source of every line and checks the result. When a posting asks for something you do not have, it tells you, and leaves it off.
What it is, and what it is not#
Jobbaloo is a web app for the person looking for work. It searches twelve boards, scores postings against your profile with reasons, tailors a CV and letter per posting, drafts the application e-mail and waits for your approval, tracks replies and lets you rehearse the interview.
Bring your own AI: yours, Claude, ChatGPT or Grok, can help, and it drafts for you to approve. You approve every e-mail before it goes.
Who makes it#
AVS Media, a small company in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. The imprint has the details. Jobbaloo began as the tool its maker used for his own freelance search, and it is built to be used by other people: nothing personal is hard-coded, and your rules are your settings. We are early, and we say so on every page where it matters. What is live, what you must set up yourself, what is planned and what is not offered is labelled, and the examples on this site use a fictional person and sample postings.
How we work
Three promises.
True claims only
Every claim on this site is something you can check in the app or the docs. Early or planned things are labelled.
You approve what is sent
No e-mail leaves Jobbaloo without your approval of that exact message.
