The pipeline
How a Jobbaloo posting moves through stages on Tracked: saved, drafted, applied and interview, what Today counts, and which version an application keeps.
The pipeline is the list of postings you are acting on. Each one has a stage. Saving a posting does not draft anything and does not send anything.
Stages#
Tracked lists every job with a stage and its next step in words. The stages named in the app are saved, drafted, applied, interview and so on. The Activity tab of a posting shows its history.
Saving a result, including jobs save, sets the stage to saved. Nothing is drafted or sent. A stored posting can still carry materials beside that stage: the CV version, the cover letter, and every e-mail draft with what will be attached and its approval request.
Today, the first page after sign-in, shows your stage counts, what is ready (profile, sender, mail key), drafts waiting for you and what goes out today. See Getting started.
What follows a new version#
An application has one cover letter: the posting's tailored version. An unsent application follows each new version you save. A sent one keeps the version it went out with. Editing a version is the same tailored CV for the plan count. Read Tailoring and Plans and limits.
What else can save a posting#
The morning digest can save strong matches to the pipeline when you turn that on. It still only reads boards and stores postings. It never drafts or sends. See The morning digest.
Replies you forward to your Jobbaloo address are matched to their thread and application, so the pipeline shows where that posting stands. See Applying and the outbox.
An AI can read the pipeline with jobs saved and one posting, including its stage, with jobs get. It cannot approve or send.
