The truth check
What the Jobbaloo truth check allows on a CV, a letter and an e-mail: source lines, numbers and skills, and the sentences that are free to write.
The truth check keeps a tailored CV, a letter and an e-mail faithful to your master profile and to the posting. It does not know whether the profile itself is true. You own the facts.
On a CV#
The offline engine selects, orders and lightly rephrases your own lines. Every bullet keeps the id of its source line. When a CV is saved, a guard checks it:
- a line with no source is refused, or put back to the source line,
- a number that is not in its source is refused, or put back,
- a skill that is not on your list is refused, or put back.
The same guard runs whether the lines came from the offline engine, from your AI or from you. The page labels those as Offline engine and Your AI's rewrite.
When your AI saves through tailor save, every bullet needs a src: a source id from what tailor draft returned. The check repairs a CV line by line against your profile.
On a letter or an e-mail#
Letters and e-mail drafts are checked sentence by sentence. A failure refuses the save, the draft or the approval, and names each sentence and why. The same check runs again when you ask to approve.
| Must trace to your profile or the posting | Free to write |
|---|---|
| Numbers and years of experience | Opinion, such as being excited about a role |
| Skills and tools | How you phrase a true line |
| Employers, titles and credentials | The order and emphasis of true lines |
| Achievements and spoken languages | Greeting and closing |
| Contact data and the signature |
A requirement you cannot show stays missing. It is listed on the match and is not added to the CV. Read Tailoring for how a version is chosen, and Troubleshooting when a save is refused.
What it cannot do#
Your AI can read a refusal and try again. It still cannot send, and it still cannot approve. See Applying and the outbox.
